Bear dog training begins on Sunday
MADISON, Wis. -- The open period for training bear hunting dogs in Wisconsin begins Sunday and runs through Aug. 31. Black bear hunting season opens Sept. 5 and closes Oct. 9. A total of 4,405 bear harvest permits were issued for the 2007
