Owner bears responsibility for dog's barking
QUESTION: My 8-1/2-year-old dog barks constantly. It doesn't matter what I do to correct her; she barks all the time. There's no deterrent for her. She spends her time in a large, open kennel with other dogs who don't bark. I could keep a muzzle on her 24 hours a day, except when she's eating. Even with a muzzle on, she barks. I may have her put to sleep if I can't find a way to keep her quiet.
