New NCC program gives job training to future veterinary assistants

NORWALK - At the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center on West Cedar Street on Wednesday, it took four veterinary assistants-in-training to restrain a 140-pound bull mastiff on one of the metal examination tables; three to hold the animal down and one to sweet-talk her.
